Something new to this generation is the concept of “real news” and “fake news.”
The best rule of thumb is to read lots of sources to help you determine what is “real” and what is “propaganda.” To help you, we’ve started by listing news organizations that have long been considered news staples. For newer (or more questionable sources, we’ve just labeled them as “lean left / progressive or liberal” or “lean right / conservative.”
